New Love
I've found my new love and you'll never guess what it is so I'll just tell you. Biology! It's amazing. Even though I don't actually believe in evolution, it's very interesting to study how people try and explain things without a God. And I can still study the biosphere without rooting its explanation in evolution. I find living things fascinating and absolutely beautiful. The diversity and incredible complexity astounds me. Maybe I'll change my major....

First post of 2010!!!
In case you are wondering how I fared in completing my Christmas Break To-do List:
-apron didn't happen
-cookies did happen! (without the cute apron) Mother and I baked some delicious traditional Norwegian cookies that have been passed down in my family for generations
-I didn't exactly practice what I was supposed to be practicing, but I played at a heck of a lot of church services. Also, the piano suddenly seemed interesting to me in the last week or so
-I think it takes a while to rock scream...
-Oh man did I knit!
-Kirk, Isaac Huether, Sam Wright and I all went to Beaver Mountain Ski Resort on New Years Eve. It was super fun until I hit the back of my head really hard and felt woozy the rest of the day
-Friend's are amazing! (and yes, I did hang out with some)
-Getting second ear piercings is a work in progress still. I found out that my friend's mom has an ear piercing gun! I just need to get on the phone and talk to her. (I hate making phone calls)
-I ended up making two batches of Original Chex Party Mix cuz Kirk kept eating all of it.
-Halen, I am putting a word in for you:)
And now, new to this year!
Lately, I've been keeping track of what I eat because of some allergic rashes I've been dealing with for the past few months. I'm horrible at remembering to write things down though, so Kirk gave me the idea of taking digital photographs of everything I eat. (apparently he once heard about some nutty Japanese scientist who did that) That means I have to take pictures of all the ingredients that go into whatever is on the menu. So if you see me walking around with a camera, now you know why. Here's a few examples from tonight's spaghetti meal.
